Jay Z Ranks His Albums From Best To Worst

Four Classics? I think so…

Hovito celebrated his 44th birthday and to make it an interested one, he decided to rank his album from best to worst. Looking at the list, I’m ok with the first four being classics but my list changes right after that. Here’s what Jay Z had to say about his LPs followed by MY best to worst.

1. Reasonable Doubt (Classic)
2. The Blueprint (Classic)
3. The Black Album (Classic)
4. Vol. 2 (Classic)
5. American Gangster (4 1/2, cohesive)
6. Magna Carta (Fuckwit, Tom Ford, Oceans, Beach, On the Run, Grail)
7. Vol. 1 (Sunshine kills this album…fuck… Streets, Where I’m from, You Must Love Me…)
8. BP3 (Sorry critics, it’s good. Empire (Gave Frank a run for his money))
9. Dynasty (Intro alone…)
10. Vol. 3 (Pimp C verse alone… oh, So Ghetto)
11. BP2 (Too many songs. Fucking Guru and Hip Hop, ha)
12. Kingdom Come (First game back, don’t shoot me)

My list:

1. Reasonable Doubt (classic)
2. Blueprint (Classic)
3. Black Album (Classic)
4. Vol. 2 (Classic)
5. Vol. 1 (Where I’m from, Who you with, Friend of foe, Streets is watching)
6. BP2 (Lot of songs but they were good. “Excuse Me Miss” possibly one of the best Neptunes beat! HOVI BABY! NICE!)
7. Aemrican Gangster (Great conceptual album)
8. BP3 (Hard to skip a song.)
9. Magna Carta (Production is on POINT!)
10. Vol. 3 (The intro could stay on repeat for me! Put your hands up. So ghetto)
11. Dynasty (I just wanna love you. Neptunes. Soon you’ll understand, Where have you been)
12. Kingdom Come (Liked this album but it’s last because the others outdid this one.)
